Sanskrit collegiate school, a government bengali medium boys’ school, is run under Depatment of School Education, West Bengal and affiliated to Board of Secondary Education, West Bengal and Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal, conducting classes from Pre Primary to XII.

Sanskrit Collegiate School was established in 1824.This school its heritage and seeks to inculcate in its values brotherhood, ethics, empathy and mutual respect.
